Clubhouse
Social Room with Kitchen for club members to meet up for socialising and plan dives with refreshments.
Training/Lecture Room is on the second floor of the club house and used for club BSAC Theory Lessons. This room can facilitate from 6-12 trainees for lectures.
The Club House is open for members on Thursday nights 7:30pm – 9:30pm. If you are a non-member and wish to pop by to see the facilities yourself please notify the club and we will welcome you.
Compressor & Gas Mixing Facilities
In Alkin 3 Stage 4 whip Compressor, able to fill both 230bar and 300bar Cylinders.
Gas mixing facilities to produce any controlled mix of Nitrox or Trimix.
All members who have been trained to use this equipment have access to the compressor room from Monday – Saturday between the hours of 10:00am – 9:00pm.
CSAC’s Compressor Engineer maintains the compressor and gas mixing equipment.
Pool Sessions
Club pool sessions are held at the Lisnasharragh Leisure Centre on Wednesday nights at 8:00pm – 9:30pm, between the months of October to March.
The Lisnasharragh Leisure Centre has a diving pool that can alter its depth from 0-3.8m, perfect for teaching scuba.
If you are a non-member and wish to enquire about joining us in the pool please notify us and you would be welcome to join us.
CSAC pool sessions are primarily for the club diver trainees, but the sessions are open to all club members for fitness and training.
CSAC’s Training Officer organises pool lessons for trainees.
Training Equipment
CSAC has 10 full sets of training equipment – we are one of the best equipped clubs in Northern Ireland.
Our club standard set of equipment consists of:
- Apeks Regulators
- 12L Faber Cylinder
- Buddy BCD
- Lead Weights and Belt
- Fins
- Mask
On your Try Dive all this will be provided.
Once a member joins you have access to club equipment until you obtain your own.
CSAC’s Equipment Officer maintains all the Training equipment.
Boats
CSAC has 2 Ribs, one was name Bob and one was named Nob. Both Ribs are 5.7m O’Prey Rigid inflatable Boats with 115hp 4 Stroke Susuki Engines.

New Orange Boat (N.O.B.)
Both RIBs are fitted with GPS, Radio and fully serviced Marinox Emergency Oxygen Diving Unit.
CSAC’s Boat Engineer maintains all the Boating equipment.
